Pico Laser Tattoo Removal

Does Pico laser tattoo removal hurt?

Most clients describe the sensation as a rubber band snapping against the skin. Although it can be uncomfortable, treatment is usually very quick. Cooling and suitable numbing products can help reduce discomfort.

Do you sell numbing cream?

Yes! We stock Extreme Numbing Cream to help make your treatment experience more comfortable. Please ask our team about suitability and safe application before using any numbing product.

How many sessions will I need?

Every tattoo is different. Some tattoos only require a few sessions for fading, while complete removal can require 6 to 12 sessions or more. Results depend on ink colour, depth, age, location and individual response.

How long does treatment take?

Smaller tattoos can take just a few minutes to treat. Larger tattoos take longer.

How long is the healing time?

Redness, tenderness and swelling are common for the first few days. Blistering or scabbing can occasionally occur and may take 1 to 2 weeks or longer to heal.

Will my tattoo disappear completely?

Many tattoos can be significantly faded or removed, but complete removal cannot be guaranteed. Some inks are more resistant than others.

Does Pico laser tattoo removal leave scars?

Scarring is possible, although not inevitable. Correct treatment, appropriate session spacing and following aftercare instructions help reduce the risk.

Can coloured tattoos be removed?

Certain coloured inks can be treated, although some are more difficult to remove than others. Suitability depends on the laser wavelengths available.

Can you lighten my tattoo for a cover-up?

Absolutely! You don't always need complete removal. We can work towards lightening an existing tattoo to create more possibilities for your next design.

How long do I wait between sessions?

Sessions are generally spaced at least 6 to 8 weeks apart, sometimes longer, to allow healing and continued ink clearance.

Can you remove just part of a tattoo?

Yes! We may be able to target specific sections, including lettering or details you want to change.

How soon will I see results?

Some fading may be visible after the first session, but the body continues gradually clearing fragmented ink over the following weeks.

Can I get a new tattoo over the treated area?

Yes, once your skin has fully healed and recovered sufficiently.

Can I have laser removal with a tan?

Recently tanned or sunburnt skin can increase treatment risks. We may need to postpone your appointment.

What should I avoid after treatment?

Avoid scratching, picking, direct sunlight, swimming and excessive heat until the skin has healed. You'll receive full aftercare advice.

Can I have tattoo removal while pregnant or breastfeeding?

We recommend postponing elective laser tattoo removal during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

How much does tattoo removal cost?

Prices depend on the tattoo's size, colour and complexity. Send us a photograph on WhatsApp for an initial estimate.

Soprano Laser Hair Removal

What laser hair removal machine do you use?

At S-Line Studios, we use a Soprano laser hair removal system, designed to provide effective, long-term hair reduction with treatment technology that prioritises client comfort.

Does Soprano laser hair removal hurt?

Soprano technology uses gradual heating and skin-cooling technology to make treatment more comfortable. Most clients experience warmth or mild prickling rather than intense pain, although sensitivity varies.

What makes Soprano different from traditional laser hair removal?

Soprano's gradual heating and In-Motion technology can make treatments more comfortable while targeting hair follicles. The exact features depend on the Soprano model and applicator used.

How many sessions will I need?

Most clients require around 6 to 8 sessions or more, depending on their hair type, skin type, hormones and treatment area.

Is laser hair removal permanent?

Laser hair removal provides long-term hair reduction rather than guaranteed permanent removal. Many clients experience significantly reduced hair growth, with occasional maintenance treatments required.

How long does healing take?

There is usually minimal downtime. Mild redness, warmth or swelling may occur, generally settling within 24 to 72 hours.

Can Soprano treat different skin tones?

Soprano systems are designed to treat a wide range of skin tones. We assess each client individually to determine the appropriate treatment settings and suitability.

What areas can be treated?

Common areas include the legs, underarms, arms, face, chest, back and suitable bikini or intimate areas.

Can I have laser hair removal on my face?

Yes! Suitable areas may include the upper lip, chin and jawline, depending on your hair and skin characteristics.

Does laser hair removal work on blonde or grey hair?

Laser hair removal works best on hair containing sufficient pigment. Very light blonde, grey, white and red hair may respond poorly.

Can I shave between appointments?

Yes! Shaving is fine once the skin has settled. Avoid waxing, plucking and threading throughout your treatment course.

Should I shave before treatment?

We generally recommend shaving 24 to 48 hours before your appointment unless your practitioner advises otherwise.

When will I see results?

Many clients notice reduced hair growth after their first few sessions. Results develop gradually throughout the treatment course.

How often should I book appointments?

Sessions are commonly spaced around 4 to 8 weeks apart, depending on the treatment area.

Does laser hair removal help with ingrown hairs?

Yes! Reducing hair growth can help reduce some cases of ingrown hairs and shaving irritation.

Can I use fake tan?

Fake tan should be completely removed before treatment. Recent natural tanning also requires assessment, even when using suitable Soprano technology.

Can I have laser hair removal while pregnant?

We recommend postponing elective treatment during pregnancy.

What should I avoid after treatment?

Avoid excessive heat, direct sun exposure and irritating skincare products until your skin has settled. Your practitioner will provide individual aftercare advice.
